What file types can I send? ▼
PDF, Word (.doc/.docx), Excel (.xls/.xlsx), PowerPoint (.ppt/.pptx/.ppsx), RTF, plain text, HTML, JPG, PNG, GIF, TIFF, and BMP. Up to 40 MB per file, 250 pages combined per fax.
Are inbound and outbound counted together? ▼
Yes. One monthly bucket. So a 100-page Starter plan covers 100 total pages — sent or received in any combination. We chose this so heavy inbound months don't surprise you with extra charges.
What happens if I exceed my plan? ▼
Outbound sends are blocked with a clear "you've hit your quota" notice — no surprise overage charges. Inbound faxes still arrive but the PDFs are quota-locked until your billing period refreshes or you upgrade. You can see them in your dashboard the whole time.
Can I cancel anytime? ▼
Yes. No contracts, no cancellation fees. Cancel from your account and your subscription ends at the end of the current billing period.
Is moarfax HIPAA-compliant? ▼
Not yet. Our terms of service currently prohibit transmitting protected health information (PHI). HIPAA support and a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) are on our roadmap — get in touch if you need it for your organization.
Can I send international faxes? ▼
US and Canada at launch. International support is on the roadmap but each country requires a separate compliance review.
